Miss Grass Review

Cannabaddie Talk stands on its support for cannabis brands that empower and elevate black and brown voices. Miss Grass, recently on the news for their beautiful art exhibit showcasing some of the “Faces of Cannabis”. I find it to be so inspiring and so I wanted to review Miss Grass products found in Chicago dispensaries.

Miss Grass Blends? Or Strains?

Out of all the things that make me wary about shopping at dispensaries, the main one is the misinformation. All the information that is required to be on the packaging of each product.

Looking at the Miss Grass website, both the All Times Minis and the Half Times mini’s have the strain listed as “Blueberry Haze”. But if they were both the same strain, I’m sure they wouldn’t be for different times right?

Miss Grass Review

You can clearly read it says that the Minis are “effects-based blends”. I feel like they purposely made that entire statement unclear so that people wouldn’t understand what it means.

What are Blends?

Blends are when companies take two different types of weed, and then mix them up together. Daze Off is a company who’s blends are pretty popular. Blends are a great way to bring together two strains and get the best effects, but it really depends on the quality of the cannabis.

Most people dislike blends because they believe corporate cannabis brands use blends as a way to get rid of leftover or overstock weed. But Miss Grass, with their nationwide reputation, would probably have a higher standard, right? On to the actual reviews:

Miss Grass Fast Times

I tried the Miss Grass Fast Times minis first because you guys already know that I love my Sativa’s. I didn’t really know what to expect as they are pretty small and made for a quick smoke. Even though I have some big ass lungs, I forced myself to only smoke one.

I gave it a dry pull and honestly couldn’t decipher many terpenes. It tasted a little dry, but otherwise it tasted like ok quality. Not the top shelf weed I’m used to, but perfect for a little pick me up. It was perfectly sized for that type of experience, but the taste left something to be desired.

I finished the joint and was pretty underwhelmed. Despite the fresh taste from the dry pull, it didn’t taste fresh. It was pretty dry and bland, but it did get me high. I smoked it at around 3pm and felt relief, and even a lightness come across me. Definitely a good, day time high.

Miss Grass Quiet Times

Next up, and a couple of months after I tried the Fast Times, I decided to give their Quiet Time Mini’s a go. The Quiet Time Minis are listed to “Anchor + Restore”, but like, what does that even mean?

My interpretation is that these are for those moments when you want to relax and de-stress. So I smoked two of them before unwinding for the night. The reason why I smoked 2 is because I smoked 1 and it got me to that annoying high that wears off almost immediately. After smoking the second I did feel pretty relaxed.

Again, you’re not going to be smoking these for the taste. As they are pretty dry and bland as well, but they do give you that desired effect. The type of effect you get from smoking a little bit of any Indica.

Save Your Money, Purchase the Flower Instead

I have to say I wouldn’t buy the Miss Grass prerolls again. I’m just weary of what goes into Pre-rolls already, and knowing that their website is so unclear didn’t alleviate those worries. Miss Grass does also sell flower, which I have not yet tried. But I would always recommend purchasing the flower and making your own prerolls.

Make sure to read our other reviews like our review for the 1906 Pills and the review of the Kaviar pre-rolls.
