Missing all the elevated energy from 4/20 weekend? Do you struggle with finding good events where you can smoke? 4/20 is over, but the fun don’t stop. There's no shortage of exciting events happening near you, you just have to find them! In this guide, we'll explore how to find the best 420 events in your area and where to meet other cannabaddies.

EventHi is Your Friend

One of the easiest ways to find 420 events near you is by using online event directories. Websites like Eventhi and Eventbrite. Even Leafly often features a variety of cannabis-related events, including festivals, parties, and educational seminars. Simply search for "420 events" or "cannabis events" in your area, and you'll likely find a plethora of options to choose from.

Check Local Dispensaries and Smoke Shops

Many local dispensaries and smoke shops host their own 420 events, ranging from sales and discounts to live music and product demonstrations. Keep an eye out for flyers or event listings at your favorite cannabis retailers, or visit their websites and social media pages for announcements about upcoming 420 celebrations. Instagram and even Snapchat and Facebook are a good place to look.

Ask Your Plug!

Who is the best resource? Your friendly neighborhood weed man. Even if they don’t attend, they might be able to tell you where to look. If your plug is on Snap they might even be posting flyers already. Make sure you follow the vendors when you actually go to these events, they will continue posting other events you can attend.

Explore Cannabis-Friendly Venues:

Many bars, clubs, and event spaces now host cannabis-friendly events in states where recreational use is legal. Some of these states even have legal consumption lounges, although there are none inside Chicago’s limits. Look for venues that have a 420-friendly policy or that regularly host cannabis-related events, and keep an eye out for special 420-themed parties and gatherings leading up to April 20th.
