Will CBD Make Me Tired?

If you aren’t already using CBD, now is the time to start. It’s not just a fad, there are real and proven benefits to using CBD or hemp. Especially for those suffering with pain. For sore muscles, and more superficial pains, you can apply a CBD topical. Those only offer focalized pain relief and won’t enter your bloodstream.

What Are Ways You Can Use CBD?

When it comes to CBD, you can consume it in a variety of ways. That’s because CBD in itself can be derived from oil. This oil is then used in different ways. Some of the most popular ways to consume CBD are:

  • Edibles / gummies

  • Topicals / creams

  • Pre-rolls

CBD Edibles / CBD Gummies

CBD is commonly infused into candies and easy to eat treats like cookies. If you enter any head shop, you’ll see a variety of chocolates, lollipops, and gummies infused with CBD. Most range from 5 to 25 mgs.

CBD Topicals / CBD Creams

For sore muscles, it is recommended that you opt for a CBD topical. They range from balms to roll ons to lotions, these are convenient and meant to be applied directly to the affected area. You can use these liberally, and the CBD doesn’t actually enter your bloodstream when you use them.

CBD Pre-Rolls

The increasingly popular option, CBD pre-rolls offer a way to legally consume CBD. A lot of people would recommend a 1:1 CBD / THC ratio for smoking. Many people don’t know that you can smoke CBD, and the taste is actually very different from the weed you know about.

CBD creates a variety of side effects when consumed. For some, a small amount will have no actual effect. In fact, those who are afraid of experiencing a “high” effect need not worry! CBD doesn’t include THC which is the primary component to the high you feel from cannabis.

CBD, often used for pain relief, will absolutely calm you and your muscles. In fact, some of the feelings of relaxation also can cause fatigue and sleepiness. Your muscles and your body won’t feel tired or sore per say, but you some people do describe feeling very relaxed.

It’s important to remember that side effects can occur to anybody and at any time. Each experience is unique and can change depending on the way you consume, and the strain you consume.
