Keep Opposite Windows of Your House Open

I like to open windows on the opposite side of the room I’m smoking. Usually people only open the window they’re smoking out of, but the problem with that is that smoke will usually circulate the room. So you need a window open on the other side of the room as an exit for the smoke. If you have ceiling fans, keeping it on is also a bonus.

Do Incense, Air Fresheners, or Febreze work?

The short answer? Yes, but only to a certain extent. Ventilation is still one of the most important components of getting rid of the weed smell, so making sure to have your windows open as Step #1. Incense, air fresheners, and Febreze work as a blanket or a “cover up” to the smell, but don’t actually get rid of the smell. But if you’re in a pinch, these are good to use.

The Smoke Buddy

I am a huge fan of the Smoke Buddy. Currently I own the full and small size smoke buddies. When smoking in my room, I only smoke out of my bowl and always use my smoke buddy to exhale. The Smoke Buddy is a great little tool that completely gets rid of any smell. All you have to do is exhale directly into it and the smoke will disappear before your eyes.

Smoke Odor Eliminating Enzyme Candles

A common tool seen in any stoner's house is candles. There are currently smoke odor eliminating candles that you can buy on Amazon that do a great job. Keep one lit during your smoke sesh or before any visits, and you won’t have to worry about your house smelling like weed.

The most important thing to remember is that smoke caused by combustion does damage walls and creates a thin film over your items. This is true for any type of smoke and is not exclusive to cannabis. The best option is to circulate and open your windows and doors. But in this cold we know that it’s not the most practical option. Still, you should opt for smoking near an open space.
