Andrea “Dre” Morris, a Southside Chicago native, blends creativity with advocacy. Shaping narratives at the intersection of art, community, and cannabis. A graduate of Bradley University with roots in CPS, Dre’s journey began in journalism and photography, forging a path towards destigmatizing cannabis.
As co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of Nuvé, she pioneers innovation in the cannabis tech landscape. Dre’s influence extends beyond corporate realms, collaborating with diverse brands and curating events spotlighting mental health and cannabis. From New York Fashion Week, to grassroots initiatives, her work transcends boundaries, challenging perceptions and inspiring change.
We were blessed to have Dre hosting our first Open Mic of the year. Her magnetic energy and hilarious sense of humor really added to the energy. I have been following Dre’s social media for just under a year, loving her motivational words, her realism, and her weed references.
Dre is hosting an upcoming Health event called Healing with the Homies. It’s very rare to find safe spaces for POC related to mental health. If you or someone you know is on their mental health journey, have them come out to this event on May 25th.
